2019 Fall and Holiday Schedule
Well it’s that time of year again for me to finally get a blog post to update everyone where we will be for the rest of the year. Technically I’m ahead of last year as it appears, I put the fall schedule up on August 25th.
This has been a busy year as we have been working the Minneapolis Farmers Market Annex every other weekend and filling the off weekends with other shows. The highlight of the year so far was getting invited to participate in the Ely Blueberry Festival. It was an amazing show in one of my favorite locations in MN.
The big news in the shop is that just recently sign number 10,000 was produced. Since I started making signs, I have always had the narrative running in my mind doing something 10,000 times to master it. While I don’t believe I necessarily have mastered anything, the signs have changed since sign #1 was produced.
It’s humbling to think about al the different customers and locations that the signs have traveled to. Just recently there have been sales to many out of country customers that have traveled to Rochester for Mayo clinic and have purchased them at the Thursdays on 1st and 3rd event. It’s an honor that someone wants to take something made in our small little shop and travel back to Dubai, Kuwait, Iraq, or India with it.
In moments of reflection and looking back at all the signs and customers I’m so grateful to God for blessing me with opportunity to do what I’m doing today.
